Optional for a richer meal
    • 1 teaspoon of curry powder (optional)
    • 1 ripe avocado
    • Tahini sauce
    • Israeli salad

Instructions
  1. Drain and rinse the jack fruit pieces from the can under warm water for 5 minutes.
  2.  Heat canola oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms, chopped onion, and minced garlic. Sauté for 5 minutes until   golden and fragrant.
  3.  Cut the rinsed jack fruit pieces along their natural divisions and add them to the pan. Sauté for 2 more minutes to enhance the flavors.
  4.  In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, paprika, and optional curry powder. Pour the mixture over the jack fruit in the pan. Add water and stir   well. Cover the pan and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  5.  Remove the lid and use a fork to gently press and shred the jack fruit until soft. Cook with the lid on for a few more minutes if needed.
  6.  Reduce the heat to low and let the pan sit for 5 minutes to meld the flavors.
  7.  Warm up the tortillas and prepare desired toppings like avocado, tahini sauce, Israeli salad, and rice.
